A downloadable game

Includes assets for three tabletop games for which I designed the core gameplay systems.

Reigning Cats and Dogs was a four person class project to prototype a board game. Loosely inspired by Dungeon Petz, the game aimed to simulate household pets growing up to be powerful creatures. A more detailed description of the design can be found in the "Summary" section of the rules. I worked on the gameplay loop and balancing the card attributes. The artboards and rule sheet were made by other team members, but I have included them for the sake of clarity.

Furious Nine was a board game spoof of the Fast and Furious film series made by another four person team. I worked on "The Battle" for this game, and was responsible for assigning the card attributes. I designed the cards in the style of the Top Trumps games, with the goal being that the players would have only a general idea of each card's strengths unless they've seen the movies or played the game before. I have also included early prototypes for the cards along with a couple finished versions as visual aids. I did not make the rule sheet, however it has also been included as it outlines how "The Battle" works.

Cockman Card Game was a solo project I created in Photoshop as a Christmas gift to some of my friends from high school. It draws from a long history of childish inside jokes from our time together presented in a game based on Final Fantasy VIII's Triple Triad. I laminated and cut out each of the cards from the card sheets and sealed them in the "Starter Packs" I made. Each starter pack had a different rule set printed on it and each friend only received one set of cards, so gift recipients would have to get together to play the game.
